We have one more plot available for a gardening opportunity ($15):

call Sibylle Walke 353-7108 or Marie Cottrill 353-5835
Also we are looking for a small  shelter to store some tools and which could be removed to higher ground in the fall.
If anyone has such a structure to donate , please let us know.

The Paisley Community Garden started in 2006 as a congenial collaboration between half a dozen Paisleyites looking for an appropriate space to grow vegetables and a landowner willing to provide it. A small fee of  $15 -$25 is charged to buy and maintain  common supplies ( fencing etc) Gardeners  commit to looking after their own  plot as well as spending some time  at the common tasks . Individually this amounts to about 10 hours per year and brings the gardeners together in work bees . Fun meetings such as the harvest potluck or entries to the Fall fair have also been a driver. To date, everybody of the 12 -15 gardening parties has been contributing  in some way. The group is fairly informal and switches the administration (e-mail updates ) to different members.

To take a look at the garden, Pass the gate to the walking path at the south of Rotary park along the Saugeen River. (at the end of Inkerman Street)
