Articles and goodies for a raffle table would be gratefully appreciated with the aim to raise a few dollars for our local women’s shelter. There will be snacks and refreshments. There will be the traditional gathering on the bridge on March 8th. This bridge gathering takes place all over the world on this day. Thousands of events occur not just on this day but throughout March to mark the economic, political and social achievements of women. Organizations, governments, charities and women’s groups around the world choose different themes each year that reflect global and local gender issues.
