disable (10).jpgMental Health Week is slated for May 7 – 13, 2012 with several school awareness activities planned throughout Bluewater.  While a full week dedicated to this cause has great importance, Chesley District High School (CDHS) student Kathryn Loucks and some of her peers have been dedicating a year round effort to mental health awareness initiatives for their fellow students.
On Friday, April 13th, the first ever “Disable the Label Assembly and Workshop Event” was held at CDHS.  A partnership with Keystone Child, Youth & Family Services, as many as 70 local mental health professionals were in attendance to host workshops and provide information on available local resources for students.
