June 17 Community Yard & Sidewalk Sale +Legion Breakfast Report:
Melissa reported that the breakfast made $585.00, Melissa still to pay for hall rental of the Legion, Dale has already paid Freshmart.
Yard sale was not well attended due to pouring rain. Paisley Swap & Sell posted a lot during the sale.
June 22 Grow Paisley meeting:
Sarah Pederson presented an outline for the upcoming meeting at the Legion at 7:00PM
July 17 Artists on the River event:
The Chamber will be responsible for the children’s program. Melissa is organizing t-shirt painting. She showed sample t-shirts from Dunblane & Turner, requested a budget of $2490 to purchase, which should yield sales of $3400. A motion was made by Mary Gail, 2nd by Dale Buhr to reduce this to $2000, and carried. Mary Gail will make a poster for the school. A multi-business flyer was discussed for Saugie to hand out, but as yet, no businesses have responded.
Melissa suggested that we get a student to do Instagram for community service hours.
