THE PAISLEY & DISTRICT CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
INVITES YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN THE

6th ANNUAL
ARTISTS ON THE RIVER

SATURDAY, JULY 14, 2018 from 10 AM.to 4PM.

WATER ST., PAISLEY, ON.

We showcase artist- created works in a wide variety of media including paint, sculpture, textiles, prints, jewellery. The children’s portion of the programme, “SAUGIE TIME” will include supervised, creative activities introducing Paisley’s friendly, mythological river creature, Saugie.

This unique outdoor venue provides an opportunity for people to view and purchase the offerings as well as meet the
artists while strolling alongside the beautiful Saugeen River. Two blocks of Water St. will be closed to vehicles providing a safe environment for the artists and visitors. A portable washroom is nearby.

A 10’ X 10’ space for displaying your art is on a first come, first served basis. Artists are expected to provide everything required for the display including table, chairs and shelter, if necessary. Displays must be secured with weights adequate to withstand strong winds.

THIS YEAR, FOR THE FIRST TIME, AN INDOOR VENUE HAS BEEN RESERVED IN CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER ONLY.

Artists on the River will be advertised extensively again this year. It will appear in the:

  • The Art Map (25000 copies) and digital format
  • Saugeen Shores Experience Guide, 1500 copies and digital format
  • Paisley village website and Face book page,
  • Paisley Advocate newspaper
  • Marketplace Magazine.
  • Explore the Bruce website

A simple lunch will be provided for the artists courtesy of the Paisley & District Chamber of Commerce.
